We hate to miss a potluck! Shoot! Travel stats so far: ...gas is still cheap, no Amish on train (that's weird), college kids going back to school, I wore my snowpants to sleep and that was my best idea EVER, Amtrak coffee is decent, Clare's LA teacher asked for a free and interesting thing from vacation...she has no idea what she has asked for from us
free and interesting is the name of our game! The children are sleeping. We will eat breakfast in dining car later. Currently stopped in garden city, KS....no snow, frost on car windows. Currently 1 hour behind schedule...smoke stop in 3 hours. I'm glad I quit.
