great day for hiking...sun, wind, time.  this was forced family fun for sure!  but it was me that was forced to act like i was enjoying it.  i prefer the "sit in the sun" activity over the climb in the sun...but we did it and it was worth it.  we often looked like the vontrop family from the sound of music...walking over the mountain.  others on the trail, *wished i had a walking stick.  algrims would have loved this hike!!  about 2 hour hike. beautiful colors with the rocks and sun.  "stay with the kids, I will catch up."....one thing is for certain: Jimmy would rather hike with Mr. Offringa than his mother.  no further explanation required.
