we had delay start today b/c the temp was so low. i still walked over to the kitchen and the girls followed soon after. on the menu was hamburgers, tators, pudding and orange slices. i was in charge of the pudding. the girls helped open chocolate milk cartons. regarding the spatulas and the fingers...it is basically a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. this was the first cloudy afternoon - boo. i went to help at the middle school desk and saw the boys on the roof. everyone usually freaks out when they are up there. i reassured them this is perfectly normal. they could look down at students from the windows they were at. it was kind of funny to see the teacher's reactions. james and i took this native ring to a jeweler/pawn to verify the stone and she said it is turquoise and sterling silver. it is stamped on the back from the person who made it (TT). it is a unique piece. james is playing floor hockey with the "young guys" again tonight. clare gets to help in the kitchen in the morning b/c 3rd grade has their state testing and we agreed it would be unfair to bring the average up if she took the test with them. no explanation necessary :)
