We drove all day

Travel Stats: sun, clouds, light rain the rest of the day. Gas: $2.95. We went south to Memphis and then across ArKansas to TX. Lunch was unexpected and fabulous! We drove to the other side of Little Rock and got off exit 133 for a pizza and sub joint. Nothing looked good about the exit or the gas station the pizza was in so we were almost back on 30W and i swung into SIMS BBQ. It was lunch time and a lot of cars...good sign. Pulled pork on wonder bread, ribs on the cut bone on wonder bread, order of greens and baked beans...it was worth the stop. The best part...40 ouncers on the menu and people were drinking them...for lunch! We made it to my mother's cousins house in Ft Worth for dinner. Her grandson Andrew was there and the boys have alot in common: guitars, football and guns. Fran's son, Mark, came by after work and had us sample his homemade salsa and hot sauce...he has his own label and bottles and sells to over 40 stores in this area. James thought he had died and gone to heaven. Quote for the day: "This car was made to go that fast. It is not a ticket, Clare. It is a TAX. I am not a criminal." Then we talked about Ted Nugent on and off the rest of the day.
