Left MI Tuesday, Jan 21. Stayed in St Louis, MO with Calvin friends. James hung shelving at Promise Christian Academy and we got on the road to Jeff City, MO. Rain and cold and snow. Thursday we drove to Garden City, KS. Sunshine in west Kansas!! Drove thru Dodge City and Cimarron (train wreck)...Stayed with more Calvin friends. I really like my rental. The heated seats don't go off. Yay! Friday: drove to Albaquerque...the road less traveled. West on 50. A favorite. Meandered thru a lot of farming and beef ranches (Do you know where your food comes from?) Lunch on Rt 66 in Tucumcari, NM. Ranchas Huevas ---- yum. Hotel near Sunport Airport in Albaquerque...girls flight delayed bc of weather in Chicago. We are here a full extra day 🌞.
