Monday

the girls went with me to the kitchen and to prep lunch and serve it.  i forget that navajo woman are still, quiet and expressionless....and i show up like the captain of the cheer squad.  they warmed right up to me!  it is the same crew: JB, Jerry and Rosie.  the men came in for snacks and hot chocolate.  they asked for ollie bollen tomorrow ~ i said YES.  lunch today was great.  pulled pork, homemade coleslaw, grapes and steak fries.  the girls worked on the food line and got to see all their friends...kids grow up, faces change, but it was easy to jump back into it.  the boys did a lot of stuff and got really dirty.  i'll hear more about it later.  we stuffed envelopes in the association office in the afternoon.  mindless work is our specialty.  we are heading up to the boys basketball game because a 90 yr old navajo gramma is making fry bread in the concessions...watch a little basketball game but all the hype is football.   jared is taking math exam.  clare is doing math homeswork.  carly and jimmy don't seem very interested in either activity.  temps in high 40's...alot of mud with some rain.
