We drove another 35 miles to get west of Salt Lake City. It as dark so we couldn't see the Great Salt Lake but we cold smell the salt in the air and from the refineries. We stayed in a Comfort Inn parking lot with other RVs. The sunrise on the west mountains is beautiful. We feel comfortable with the time we have to get to SF. We will probably stop in Tahoe or Placerville and see the original goldrush. The food in RV s great...shower even better...toilet the best. BUT mom is still cooking and cleaning and dad is still fixing things!
