we drove into Creede for church yesterday, Creede Community Church. We had been there 2 years ago...they remembered us. They had a guest student pianist for the summer from Kansas. Wonderful! All the visitors stand and introduce themselves and the church they come from. A couple applauded our CRC affiliation...retired Dordt prfessor from Lynden, WA, Jim and Jenny VanRy. we had BBQ at a walk up and then the girls went back up to Santa Maria. Michael came down and went with the boys to raft the Rio Grande. They had fun and got free hats...the season is coming to an end, trying to get rid of last year's inventory?! gramma made awesome cake. good day.
