Elmo's World

I live in preschool "in my head everyday". Ahhhh. The boys went to fix the metal over the MS front entry. The girls and I went to preschool. Carly felt confident to enter the Kindergarten world by herself so we left her there. Clare and I started by sifting 2 waste baskets of sand from up near the mountains that the PreK teacher brought over the weekend. Mindless work and we did a fine job of it. We talked about firemen and other community helpers. Daniel fell asleep on the floor so his dad came and picked him up. Apples and goldfish for snack. Recess. Carly found friends right away in kindergarten. She read to 2 kids. She helped with snack time. She held a lot of kids hands. We ate lunch in the cafeteria and saw old friends. Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes - perfect. I will go back for an hour and help with bus time...we plan to watch MS girls play basketball and then play in the gym before bed. Travel Stats: gas is $2.50/G milk is $2.89/G *Highlight of the day: 17 kindergarteners singing 5 songs in Navajo.
