we're home

i think we need to be consultants for hotel chains across america. we are definately hotel snobs. holiday inn express (less than 3 years old) definately wins. we stayed at a comfort and it was very clean but everyone noticed that there wasn't enough furniture in the lobby, no fresh baked chocolate chips cookies/coffee/fruit, tv screens are too small, water in pool too cold, fitness room equipement was used, breakfast bar counterspace was limited, carpet was worn in hallways. but everything else was just great! we drove early through KY and found a great 13 mile road south of cinncinatti, HY 1, and cut over to indiana and north up SR 3. The GPS never takes you this way, which is why we don't have a GPS. we stopped at an army/navey surplus and the girls got knife holders for their pocket knives. we succombed to the pressure of the teenager and ate SUBWAY for lunch. then we saw a 1981 Toyota mini camper for sale and we stopped to see that. gramma had soup for us and a clean house when we got home. jared went to the back yard and started throwing knives. We're home.
