tornado watch....storm fell apart

the storm came through around 7:30am. we all decided to car ride today and the dirksens went into wilmington to the USS North Carolina. the kids are a perfect age and everyone enjoyed the tour, guns, ammo, stairs, etc....we hit the thrift stores and gun shops and pawns on the way back. clare got keens for $1. it was successful. we went back to the beach house and played a bit before we went to the seafood restuarant in sneads ferry. a regular event for our week here. clare is finishing her sewing project with aunt carol -
