Merry Christmas Eve 2010

This will serve as the Dirksen Christmas Letter this year. We leave Monday for Rehoboth. Many of you enjoyed following Jared on his blog for class last year. I am the the official family blogger this time with big shoes to fill. A few people I want to acknowledge before we start. My dad died Nov. 7th. He lived simple and beautiful. My parents encouraged us to spread our wings...they selflessly gave of their time and money so we can be all that we could be. I want my kids to fly. Thank You mom & dad. We go to a church and school that have supported us in word and deed. The teachers at K Christian have encouraged my children to see and do God's Kingdom work. Some call that "excellent education". I think it promotes excellent living. Thank You teachers. Thank You mom & dad Dirksen for keeping the fort down and Leia happy. So we will start by heading south to Texas and seeing my mom's relatives in the Ft. Worth area. Keep your screen fresh Uncle Chuck...everything is BIG in Texas :)
